Field Reference

Fields are listed in the order they appear down the page.

# Field Type Renders as Default when blank
1 Page Title (the WP page title at the top of this editor, NOT an ACF field) WP Page Title Top-of-page H1 Blank → the H1 falls back to “AI for MEP Engineers” (hardcoded)
2 intro_chat_vs_agent (Section 1 — Two Types of AI (Chat vs Agent)) WYSIWYG Prose under the “Two Types of AI: Chat vs. Agent” H2. Include H3/H4 subheadings for Chat + the three Agent capabilities. Blank → a neutral “loaded from the CMS” placeholder shows instead of the section prose (this should never ship blank)
3 discipline_breakdown (Section 2 — AI by Discipline (Electrical / HVAC / Plumbing)) WYSIWYG Prose under the “AI for MEP Engineering by Discipline” H2. Include H3 subheadings per discipline. Only the electrical section links out today (to /ai-electrical-design-software); add HVAC/plumbing links here when those companion pages exist. Blank → a neutral placeholder shows (should never ship blank)
4 workflow_loop (Section 3 — How AI and Engineering Software Work Together) WYSIWYG Prose under the “How AI and Engineering Software Work Together” H2, ABOVE the 7-step loop diagram. End with a lead-in like “In practice this looks like a loop:”. Blank → a neutral placeholder shows (should never ship blank)

Not Editable Here

The following are hardcoded in the page template and cannot be edited through the WP editor:

  • The three section H2 headings (“Two Types of AI: Chat vs. Agent”, “AI for MEP Engineering by Discipline”, “How AI and Engineering Software Work Together”).
  • The short intro paragraph that sits between the H1 and the first section.
  • The 7-step numbered workflow-loop diagram that appears after the Section 3 prose.
  • The italic loop-back explanation paragraph immediately after the diagram.
  • The “Related” links rail at the bottom of the page.
  • The browser tab title, meta description, and Open Graph title/description (set in the route’s metadata export).

Any of those need to change — ask a developer.

How the value is chosen

  1. What you type in the WYSIWYG — wins if present.
  2. Emergency placeholder — a neutral “loaded from the CMS” line shows only if the CMS is completely unreachable at build time. The page ships with real seeded copy, so this should never appear in normal operation. If you see it live, tell a developer immediately.
